Will Diablo 4 Season 7 Add New Classes? – My Personal Prediction

For fans of Diablo 4, it may feel like it will take more than a year to see new character classes introduced in the game after the release of Vessel of Hatred expansion. However, according to some players, the developers may make a different decision in 2025 than before.

As we all know, the developers introduced a new class in Diablo 4 DLC – Spiritborn. Many players liked the combat power and art style of the character very much after trying it online, and became its loyal fans.

Previously, the developers wanted to return Witch Doctor to the game, but the game already had the two original summoner classes of Necromancer and Druid. Therefore, the developers decided to make some adjustments to the warrior of Nahantu and add some new elements to it.

For the developers, this new change is undoubtedly a success. Because Spiritborn class introduced by Diablo 4 contains some elements of both Witch Doctor and Monk, its functional attributes are more powerful, as long as players are willing to buy Diablo 4 Gold to create a high-quality build. At the same time, this also makes players and fans more willing to try the class in Diablo 4.

This poses a problem for developers, who have to carefully decide which class character to add to the new game and when to launch the new class character. Because the success of each game update depends on whether it can win the favor of players and fans.

New Class May Appear In The Next Expansion

Previously, the developer revealed that Diablo 4 would launch an expansion once a year, but later said that the update of the expansion might be more flexible. Therefore, many people believe that the next new class in Diablo 4 may be launched as new content in the next expansion in the fourth quarter of 2025, one year after the launch of Vessel of Hatred.

Reaper of Souls expansion is the first expansion released by Diablo 3, and the release of this expansion is 2 years away from the launch of Diablo 3. The expansion included the introduction of Crusader class, a re-creation of Paladin from Diablo 2, and some updated Diablo 4 items, which made the game even more popular.

Diablo 3 and Diablo 2 both have only one major expansion, the only difference is that Diablo 3 later launched an additional DLC.

After five years of fans’ pleas, the developers finally added the fan-favorite class to the new Diablo 3 Rise of Necromancer expansion in June 2017. While some players don’t think the developers will wait long after Diablo 4 content is released, based on past practices, it’s likely that the developers will continue to adopt this strategy when adding new classes.

According to players, just like Spiritborn is a native of Nahantu region, Diablo 4’s next new class is likely to be related to a certain region in the game, or it may not be related at all. For example, in Diablo 4, it was only a matter of time before Harrogath region was added to the game content, but Barbarian class that calls the region home is already in the current class list.

The newly launched Spiritborn already includes some elemental properties of Monk, Amazon, and Witch Doctor, Rogue includes Demon Hunter and Assassin class properties, and Warrior class has long been replaced by Barbarian. Therefore, it is unlikely that these classes will be added as new classes now.

In this way, among the previous classes, only Crusader or Paladin are viable options for developers. Therefore, if you want to hit the jackpot in the next class update, it would be wisest to invest more time and Diablo 4 Gold to try out more possibilities with these two class builds.

Learn From Diablo Immortal

For developers, it is entirely possible to recreate and modify an early class to make it a brand new class. Just like Witch Doctor was re-launched as a new class Spiritborn in Diablo 4.

Or learn from Diablo Immortal’s experience and launch some brand new classes. When Diablo Immortal was released, it included most of the classes in Diablo 3, but Witch Doctor was missing. After that, the game will release some brand new classes that have never appeared before.

The two new characters are Blood Knight and Tempest. If these two characters can be added to Diablo 4, they will be very good characters. This will not only increase players’ recognition of the main story content of the game, but more importantly, they are different from the current game characters.

In Diablo 4 Season 2, there is a game content about the threat of vampires that appeared after Lilith was defeated, and this threat has always existed in Sanctuary. Blood Knight is essentially Sanctuary version of Blade. Players can use the characteristics of this character, that is, the power of vampires, to kill these hellish threats to complete the task. Therefore, this class may be an ideal choice for developers to add as a new class in the next expansion.

According to the developer, they want to continue to expand the game map of Diablo 4. Although there are still many places for players to explore in the game, some specific areas will be more interesting. Therefore, players believe that the developer will add Crusader or Paladin class in the next Diablo 4 game update. After all, the game needs a Holy Warrior class. Developers can develop and create updates based on the story of Cathedral of Light. This is a very reasonable and ideal way.

In short, only the developers know whether new classes will be added in the new season of Diablo 4 and when they will be added. For players, just wait and see.
