Dreame Redefines Robotic Lawn Care at CES 2026 with the A3 AWD Pro: Intelligent, Wire-Free, and Built for Real Terrain

Dreame Technology made a strong statement at CES 2026 with the North American debut of its most advanced outdoor innovation to date—the Roboticmower A3 AWD Pro. Designed to move beyond incremental hardware upgrades, the A3 AWD Pro introduces a new standard for autonomous lawn care by combining advanced 3D perception, all-wheel-drive power, and integrated security into a single intelligent system.

As smart home technology expands beyond indoor environments, Dreame is applying its proven robotics expertise to outdoor spaces. The A3 AWD Pro signals the end of perimeter wires, random mowing paths, and limited functionality, replacing them with adaptive AI, precise navigation, and a “set-it-and-forget-it” experience that continues to improve over time.

A Unified Intelligence System for Modern Gardens

Rather than treating navigation, movement, and cutting as separate components, the A3 AWD Pro integrates them into a cohesive system designed to handle complex, real-world landscapes. This architecture allows the mower to perceive its surroundings, respond intelligently, and execute each task with professional-level precision.

OmniSense™ 3.0: 360° Awareness Without Boundary Wires

At the core of the A3 AWD Pro is the OmniSense™ 3.0 3D Ultra-Sensing System, which combines a 360-degree 3D LiDAR scanner with binocular AI vision. With a sensing range of up to 70 meters and centimeter-level accuracy, the mower continuously maps the yard in real time.

This dual-sensor approach enables the A3 AWD Pro to identify and avoid more than 300 common outdoor objects—including pets, tools, toys, and furniture—without the need for buried boundary wires. Unlike traditional ultrasonic or single-LiDAR systems, OmniSense™ 3.0 delivers stable performance even in low-light or visually challenging conditions.

All-Wheel Drive Power for Demanding Landscapes

To address the uneven terrain and steep slopes common in many residential gardens, Dreame equipped the A3 AWD Pro with four-wheel-drive hub motors engineered for strength and stability. The mower can climb slopes of up to 80% (38.7°) and clear vertical obstacles as high as 5.5 cm.

This powerful drivetrain allows the A3 AWD Pro to maintain traction across hills, dips, and uneven ground—eliminating the limitations that have traditionally kept robotic mowers confined to flat lawns.

EdgeMaster™ 2.0: Clean Lines, No Manual Touch-Ups

For homeowners who care about visual perfection, the EdgeMaster™ 2.0 Precision Edge-Trimming System delivers consistently clean results. Its auto-oscillating dual blades extend cutting coverage all the way to borders, walls, and flowerbeds.

By eliminating missed edges and overgrown borders, the A3 AWD Pro produces a finished lawn that rivals professional landscaping—without requiring additional manual trimming.

Intelligent Security Built Into the Lawn

Beyond mowing, the A3 AWD Pro functions as a smart garden security system. Using its binocular AI vision, the mower can perform scheduled patrols, stream real-time video, and detect human presence. When unusual activity is identified, instant alerts are sent to the user’s smartphone.

To protect the device itself, Dreame implemented a multi-layered anti-theft solution that includes GPS tracking, lift detection alerts, Apple AirTag compatibility, and an integrated 4G eSIM. This ensures continuous location tracking even when the mower is moved outside its designated area or disconnected from Wi-Fi.

From Single-Purpose Tool to Intelligent Garden Manager

At CES 2026, Dreame also previewed its broader vision for outdoor robotics through the Roboticmower APEX concept. Featuring a robotic arm, the APEX demonstrated future possibilities such as clearing obstacles from the lawn, assisting with watering, interacting with pets, and performing fine-detail edge work.

These demonstrations highlight Dreame’s long-term strategy: evolving robotic mowers into modular, multi-functional outdoor robots capable of adapting to a wide range of garden tasks. This approach reflects the company’s exploration of embodied AI in outdoor environments, where robots move, perceive, and interact with the physical world more naturally.

Availability and Pricing

The Dreame Roboticmower A3 AWD Pro will begin pre-sales in North America in February 2026, with a global release scheduled for March 2026. The recommended starting price is USD 3,099.99, with regional pricing varying by market.
