Yarbo at CES 2026: Scaling Modular Yard Robotics with AI for the Modern Home

Yarbo is steadily carving out leadership in a new category of outdoor automation: the modular yard robot system. At CES 2026, the company isn’t simply launching a new product—it’s presenting a long-term platform strategy centered on intelligent, scalable, and all-season yard automation designed for everyday households.

The spotlight this year is on the Yarbo M Series, a compact and accessible yard robot system engineered to bring advanced outdoor automation to mainstream residential users. By using CES as a global stage, Yarbo is clearly signaling its ambition to move beyond niche, high-power solutions and into a future where smart yard robots become a standard part of home technology.

To support this vision, Yarbo is aligning its CES debut with a Kickstarter launch in February, inviting early adopters to help shape the next phase of its modular ecosystem through real-world usage and feedback.

Evolving the Platform: From Heavy-Duty Systems to Household Automation

Yarbo’s earlier 2025 Version established the company’s technical foundation. Designed for large properties and demanding workloads, it demonstrated the viability of a modular, AI-driven yard robot capable of operating across seasons and environments.

The M Series builds on that foundation with a different goal: accessibility. It brings the same core principles—modularity, automation, and intelligent navigation—into a smaller, more affordable form factor optimized for typical residential yards in North America and Europe.

This expansion marks a strategic shift. Rather than creating standalone products, Yarbo is scaling a single platform across multiple user profiles, transforming its yard robot system from a specialized tool into a broadly adoptable home automation solution.

Designed for Weekly Life, Not Occasional Use

Unlike traditional robotic mowers that perform one task during one season, the Yarbo M Series is designed for continuous, year-round yard management. It functions as a compact, tracked robot capable of handling routine maintenance tasks week after week.

One Core, Many Possibilities

At the center of the system is the Yarbo Core—a single intelligent unit that supports a range of interchangeable modules. Homeowners can start with the essentials and expand over time, customizing their setup as needs change.

Supported modules include:

  • Mower Module
  • Collector Module
  • Trimmer Module
  • Plow Blade Module

In addition, the system enables functions such as towing, patrol, dragging, follow-me operation, and other utility tasks, extending its role beyond traditional lawn care.

Advanced AI control enables smooth module recognition, autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and optimized path planning, allowing the robot to adapt intelligently to complex outdoor environments.

Simple Setup, Fully Autonomous Operation

Despite its advanced technology, the Yarbo M Series is designed to be user-friendly. Initial setup typically takes about 30 minutes, involving RTK data center installation, network connection, and app-based yard mapping.

Once configured, the robot operates independently—executing scheduled tasks, managing navigation, and returning to its wireless charging station automatically when needed.

Compact Form, Industrial-Grade Performance

While smaller in size, the M Series delivers serious capability. Its tracked chassis allows it to handle slopes of up to 35° (70%), making it effective on uneven or challenging terrain.

The system is powered by a 6-TOPS AI processor and an advanced nRTK + vision-based 3D perception system, enabling precise, wire-free navigation. With a towing capacity of up to 220 lbs (100 kg), the M Series expands the definition of what a residential yard robot can do.

Kickstarter as a Strategic Market Entry

Yarbo’s decision to launch the M Series on Kickstarter reflects a commitment to community-driven development. Early backers gain first access to the system while also contributing valuable feedback that will help guide future software updates, modules, and system enhancements.

Rather than a static product release, the M Series is positioned as an evolving platform—one that improves through continuous iteration and user engagement.

Building the Future of Smart Yard Automation

With the M Series, Yarbo is advancing its vision of outdoor automation powered by AI intelligence, modular hardware, and long-term platform thinking. By delivering all-season capability in a compact and scalable system, the company is closing the gap between advanced robotics and everyday home use.

Smarter navigation, adaptive task execution, and consistent performance with minimal human input define the experience Yarbo is working toward.

Yarbo will showcase this vision at CES 2026, exhibiting at Booth #51232 in the Venetian Expo, Halls A–D, Level 2.
